Waking up to Sea Level rise in 2025

UK policy makers have been accused of failing to register the urgency with which coastlines around the British Isles are at threat from rising sea-levels. Reporting that sea levels have risen by 3.6mm annually since 2015, the Guardian notes that it may seemingly take a disaster on the scale of the great flooding of 1953 to convince UK policy makers, and the public the large, to take the risks of these changes seriously.
